Synovate Aztec recognises that different users have different data analysis needs, and our software tools have been designed with this in mind.

For users who require the ability to work with the information at a deeper level, we have developed Temple. Temple is a powerful interactive tool designed to let users build their own reports either manually or via report wizards. The Temple interface can also be pulled directly into Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint applications via the Temple link.

Whether you are a very heavy or infrequent user of scan information, AZTEC Temple has the interface that will suit you.


QUICK AND EASY

Infrequent users can access standard reports via a menu based 'Report Wizard'. This module provides users with 'guided analyses', where report templates are set up and the user simply chooses the data he or she wishes to fill these layouts. There are a number of commonly used report styles, including actual sales, shares, promotional pricing and elasticity, ranging and SKU level analyses.

POWERFUL FUNCTIONALITY

The interactive interface allows users to easily perform complex analyses, and produce output in clear, understandable formats. There are advanced sets of measures and formulas to select from, plus the ability to create custom measures & totals on the fly. The 'Rules' tab provides power users with the ability to apply

selection criteria to data selections such as:

  • Colour coding data
  • Sorting data;
  • Removing/keeping data
  • Formatting functions

AUTOMATIC REFRESHING OF DATA


The Report Book function in Temple allows users to easily create a slideshow presentation. Report Books can contain charts, tabular reports, text, or any combination, which automatically update when viewed. This feature has several valuable time saving applications. For example category reviews and end of month performance summaries can be updated, viewed or printed in seconds!



Temple for Excel

AZTEC Temple provides users of Microsoft Excel a direct link to scan data. All the functionality of Temple can be accessed via a drop down Aztec menu within Excel eliminating the need for messy 'cut-paste-resize' steps, or complicated linking procedures.

Temple for Excel is an excellent tool for creating powerful analysis using all the combined functionality of Temple and Excel. The user friendly Retrieval Manager enables the easy combining and formatting of data from separate retrievals or databases for any level of user. More advanced users will benefit from the linking of Excel Macros into a retrieval, or the creation of a menu driven interface.



Report Templates

A significant proportion of the working hours of many sales and marketing roles are spent creating standard reporting documents. These reports are often manually updated and very time consuming.

One of the many benefits of the Temple for Excel application is the ability to create customised reports that update at the click of a button, saving hours that can now be spent on other important tasks. Users can modify the input for the report by clicking on selection buttons that allow them to choose markets, products, measures or time periods directly from the Temple database.
 

Temple for Excel generates reports in Microsoft Excel, which makes it possible for users to e-mail reports to virtually any colleague, supplier or customer, and the recipient can open, read, save and print the document using software that already exists on their PC.



Temple for Powerpoint

AZTEC Temple provides users of Microsoft PowerPoint a direct link to scan data. All the functionality of Temple can be accessed via a drop down Aztec menu within PowerPoint, eliminating the need for messy 'cut-paste-resize' steps, or complicated linking procedures.

Temple for PowerPoint has proved to be a valuable tool for creating professional Category Review and Data Presentations, which can be refreshed at the click of a button
