In today’s increasingly competitive marketplace it is no longer good enough to know what sales you achieved; you need to know why. To achieve this Synovate Aztec has perfected the ability to integrate data from other sources to help explain market share movements. This includes linking information such as ex-factory sales, promotional displays and advertising expenditure and weather into the one database.
Synovate Aztec’s market leading software Temple can create Temple databases directly from a clients own internal data using the Synovate Aztec DITO Program. This utility takes data from any ODBC data source and creates a Temple database with appropriate filters and hierarchies. Using DITO, Data Marts can be created from existing Data warehouses. For existing clients this will bring the scan data and internal data onto the same Synovate Aztec Temple platform. DITO also creates all totalling required and has proven to do this much quicker than existing methods available in data warehouses.
Some of the many benefits of using DITO are:-
- DITO is very quick to do totalling and in some cases has cut days of period reporting.
- DITO is installed at the customers site, so there is no need to transfer data.
- Sensitive data can also be loaded into Temple without going offsite.
- DITO is scaleable. Customers have created Temple databases with 25,000 markets and products using DITO.
- It can be scheduled to run every night if necessary. Some customers have Temple databases with daily data.
