Who we are?
AZTEC Information Systems was founded in Australia in 1995.
AZTEC’s core offerings to date have expanded to include value-added data processing, software, training and support services across the grocery, pharmacy, liquor, mass merchant and petrol / convenience channels as well as data agency arrangements and the company is now Australia’s leading provider of scan data services.
AZTEC launched successfully into the New Zealand market in 1999. In 2004 capabilities were extended further afield with the establishment of offices in Thailand, Malaysia and the United Kingdom. In 2005, a Hong Kong office followed.
In March 2005, AZTEC joined the Synovate global research group in March 2005, and now trades as Synovate Aztec.
In September 2006, Synovate Aztec acquired Infocy in South Africa to establish the practice in this location.
Infocy, established in 2001, was similarly focused on offering FMCG clients value added information management and analysis solutions and has now been fully integrated into the Synovate Aztec practice offering the same value-added data processing, software, training and support services across similar channels.
Synovate Aztec’s focus continues to be on fast, accurate data, delivered via the most up to date, user-friendly software tools available, and supported by an experienced, enthusiastic customer service team.
